Sales
The number of properties sold in Perth last week decreased by 26.2% compared to the previous week. There were fewer sales of houses, units, and vacant land. Halls Head had the highest number of sales for the week, with 13 properties finding new owners. The most expensive property sold last week was in Halls Head for $3.8 million, while the most affordable property sold for $195,000 in Furnissdale.
Listings
The overall number of properties available for sale in Perth increased slightly (2.7%) compared to last week. There was a small increase in the number of houses and units on the market, and a larger increase in the number of vacant land listings. Currently, there are 3,228 properties available for sale in Perth, which is a little lower than four weeks ago and significantly lower than a year ago.
Rentals
The number of rental properties available in Perth decreased slightly (0.1%) compared to last week. Despite this small decrease, there are still more rental properties available now than there were four weeks ago and a year ago. Perth has the most available rental properties currently, followed by Baldivis and Como. The number of properties leased last week increased by 3.1% compared to the previous week.
Overall
The Perth property market saw a decrease in sales activity last week compared to the previous week. However, the number of properties available for sale and the number of properties leased both increased slightly. Rental listings remain higher than they were a year ago.
